BROILING DIRECTIONS

DON’T HAVE A GRILL? BROIL!

The following instructions are for cook top and oven time based on thickness of meat or seafood.

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2) Season the meat or seafood with salt and pepper or your favorite seasoning
3) Use enough oil to coat the entire bottom of a pan. The oil should just begin to smoke. We recommend grape seed oil. Grape seed oil is flavorless, this way you will only taste the natural flavor of the meat or seafood rather than the oil.
4) In order to sear meat on a stove top, use a metal pan with an oven proof handle. Heat the pan on medium high for 5 to 7 minutes to reach proper temperature to sear. Place meat or seafood in pan. *Let sear for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Remove the pan from heat and place in the preheated oven. Use the guide below to determine the length of cook time.

*Sizzling should be heard immediately after placing the meat or seafood in the pan. If you do not, the pan and oil is not hot enough.
